I ponder to thank God this morning for His many blessings upon my life. He is beyond magnificient! I think of all the things that I have been through this past year and I am amazed at the things God has brought me and my family through. I praise Him for that! I praise Him for letting me enjoy my family for another year and for comforting my heart when no one else could. I praise Him for the blessings I know are already on their way! Most importantly, I praise Jesus for dying on an old, rugged Cross for my sins... I deserved it... He didn't! How great is our wonderful, mercifiul Savior?!

Just wishing a happy anniversary to myself and my husband. 2 years seems like no time, yet it sorta seems like forever... strange huh? Anyway, I am a few days late with this but I promise we did celebrate our anniversary. We actually went to Pigeon Forge, Tn for a quick preholiday trip this past Sat. night into Sun. evening. We shopped at Tanger Outlets (I love!) and we visited Wonder Works (Awesome!) We have a really good time despite the fact that I was really sick (again this year... 2 years in a row I have been sick on our anniversary trip!) Anyway, I forgot my digital camera on this trip so I picked up a throw away camera and as soon as I finish with it, I will post those pics.

These are a few verses that always stand out in my mind when I read Revelation. They are so beautiful phrased and written.
13 ¶ And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
(This is great to know isn't it? All of our prayers that we pray here on earth will even be answered as we are living a new life in Heaven! How awesome is our God to remember and grant our answers even when the world thinks that because we have died, it is too late!)
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
(Can you not just see the visual image of these verses? Beautifully written and so thoroughly inspired by God!)

This weekend, our church had the privilege of having Dr. Gardener back to speak in our all day Creation Conference. If you are a local, be watching for the televised portions of this event on the local channel that you watch Binghamtown on weekly. It truly was awesome. The evening presentation was about Dinosaurs and Dragons and I was so excited for it. You can click the TAG... CREATION at the bottom of this post to see Dr. Gardener's presentation from last year and to see the pictures from the Creation Museum in Northern, Ky. Here's some of my notes:
4 Main Ideas About Dinosaurs
1. They started out small.... they looked like the toy ones that we have today when they were born. (Even though we are conditioned to think that they were huge because of today's Hollywood movies.)
2. The average size of a dinosaur was the same size as a sheep! (Jurassic Park didn't show you that did it?)
3. They really did exist and we know because we have found fossils, bones, and tracks from them.
4. Some really were large and scary... however there weren't tons of them roaming around. There has only been 20 T-Rex whole skeletons found.
INTERESTING FACT:
Scientists think that the world is millions of years old. They think that dinosaurs were around 65 million years ago. A paleontologist (lady) in NC broke open a dinosaur bone and found soft tissue. This wouldn't be possible if they were 65 million years old. Soft tissue cannot exist for that length of time. This is another piece of evidence that proves that our world is NOT millions of years old like the evolution scientists would like us to believe!
Evolution Blown Away!
Richard Dawkins, a major evolutionist stated... Richard Dawkins, Oxford "...there are certain things about the fossil record that any evolutionist should expect to be true. We should be very surprised, for example, to find fossil humans appearing in the record before mammals are supposed to have evolved! If a single, well verified mammal skull were to turn up in 500 million year old rocks, our whole modern theory of evolution would be utterly destroyed. Incidentally, this is a sufficient answer to the canard, put about by creationist and their journalistic fellow travelers, that the whole theory of evolution is an 'unfalsifiable' tautology. Ironically, it is also the reason why creationist are so keen on the fake human footprints, which were carved during the depression to fool tourist, in the dinosaur beds of Texas," (The Blind Watchmaker, 1986, p.225)
Since we have found human and dinosaur prints together, this blows evolution out of the water!
ANOTHER INTERESTING FACT:
The Interactive Bible
24And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
You may ask, "Why do you think that is talking about dinosaurs? It doesn't say dinosaur." The term Dinosaur wasn't invented until 1841. The Bible refers to them in different ways hence the above "Beast of the earth" and also as dragons and Behemoth.15Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
16Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
17He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
18His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.
19He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.
20Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.
21He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
22The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
23Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.
24He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.
This seems to be refering to a brachiosaurus type (long neck) of dinosaur.
2Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn?
3Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee?
4Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever?
5Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?
6Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him among the merchants?
7Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head with fish spears?
8Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more.
When you search leviathan even through a secular Internet search you find the following: (keep in mind the following is just to help with this term, it is from a secular site)
(West Asian mythology)
Literally, ‘coiled’. The sea serpent of Hebrew myth, a restatement of the chaos-dragon Tiamat, is the same as the Ras Shamra Lotan, the seven-headed monster slain by Anat. The apocryphal Book of Enoch speaks of a companion beast. ‘And in that day will two monsters be separated a female named Leviathan to dwell in the abyss over the fountains of waters. But the male is called Behemoth which occupies with his breasts an immeasurable desert named Dendain.’ The Talmud, a compendium of the teachings of later Rabbis, states that the fins of Leviathan radiate such brilliant light as to obscure the rays of the sun. Though the plaything of Yahweh, in the last days of the world the sea serpent will repulse attacks from angels, till Behemoth kills it. According to Islamic tradition, Allah used Behemoth not as a destroyer of dragons but a firm foundation for the world, a mighty back overarching the water and the darkness below the earth.
A vivid description of Leviathan occurs in the Book of Job. To underscore man's weakness and ignorance compared with divine greatness, Yahweh asked:‘Canst thou draw out Leviathan with an hook? … None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me? … He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood…. He maketh the deep to boil like a pot.’ It is not surprising that in medieval Christianity Leviathan, ‘king over all the children of pride’, was identified with hell, whose entrance iconography depicted as a gigantic maw.
